“Patricia, it’s been a true pleasure working alongside you this past year and witnessing your growth,” Shah said. “Your vision, clinical insight and passion for patient care have truly inspired all of us. Last year, Lorquet matched with HMH for her PGY-2 residency and joined its PGY-2 ambulatory care pharmacy residency team.

“It has been such an honor to watch you grow over the past year and become a competent and compassionate pharmacist,” said Lucrecia Campisi, the PGY-2 ambulatory care pharmacy residency coordinator. “Although this is truly a bittersweet moment as you embark on your career, I am confident in your ability to handle anything that may come.”

Campisi added that this milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the partnership between HMH and SOPPS.

“Congratulations, Patricia! I am so proud of you,” Nagaraju said. “This is an outstanding milestone in your career, and you should be very proud of yourself. You’re a shining example of what it means to be a Binghamton School of Pharmacy alum, and I have no doubt you will continue to see success in the next chapter of your career.”

Kenneth McCall, the chair and clinical professor of pharmacy practice, said Lorquet is leading the charge for this new program and shared some words of encouragement.

“Watching your steady growth as a clinician educator has been inspiring,” he said. “As the inaugural resident of a new program, you are truly a pioneer. Moving forward into the next chapter of your career, know that the same resilience, commitment and curiosity that carried you through this year will serve you, and your patients, exceptionally well.

Lorquet is now headed to to work as a clinical pharmacy specialist in transitions of care.
